So, we’re finally halfway through 2024 – the sun has barely appeared, the rain has felt never-ending and we’ve had relentless grey days. For many it’s been a tough slog so far this year and maybe your team’s energy feels like it needs, well, energising!
For team members who’ve spent six months with their noses to the grindstone, a change of focus may be just what the doctor ordered.
If you’re looking for a fun and enjoyable way to relight your team’s spark and get people thinking more positively about the second half of the year, then look no further…
A DiSC Assessment is a widely used personality and behavioural tool that places individuals into four primary personality types: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. Developed from the work of psychologist William Marston, the DiSC Profile aims to enhance self-awareness, improve communication, and better teamwork by helping individuals understand their own behaviours and those of others.
Participating in these workshops offers numerous advantages for both you and your team, including:
Let us introduce your team to Everything DiSC in one of our workshops – I promise you it’ll be a fun and enjoyable day, with plenty of laughs, shared insights and a-ha moments! It’s a great way to add a new dimension to the way your people work. It’ll transform your team from within – providing self-insights, giving individuals a personal boost and getting them thinking about work in a different light – away from the same-old repetitiveness of just focusing on targets and objectives and instead creating new strategies to connect with others more successfully….which will (of course) help them more successfully reach those targets and objectives anyway!
We all have some people in our working lives – customers, suppliers, contractors, associates, colleagues, managers – who we find more challenging to deal with than others. And yet our success for this year may well depend on us being able to connect more effectively with those very people.
Everything DiSC looks at four quadrants of behaviour in people and helps identify individual priorities and how they may differ from our own.
D – Dominance – direct, forceful, opinionated, outspoken
i - Influence – outgoing, optimistic, high-spirited, lively
S – Steadiness – accommodating, patient, even-tempered, tactful
C – Conscientiousness – analytical, reserved, precise, private
Everything DISC can help you develop your own plan for how to flex your interpersonal muscles and make better connections with other people – especially those we find more awkward to handle.
Each person completes an online questionnaire before the workshop and will then receive their own personalised profile report during the session. This provides you with tips and insights on how to communicate and build stronger connections with others who may have different priorities and behaviours than you.
During a great day filled with relaxed open conversations and personal insights, your team will emerge with a better understanding of how to handle each other – and those outside the team – in a more collaborative and successful way.
